The head of Buryatia Alexey Tsydenov met Friday with the special representative of the President of Mongolia on trilateral cooperation and economic corridor between Russia, Mongolia and China, Mr. Amarzhargalyn Gansukh.
The Mongolian delegation on behalf of the President of Mongolia, Haltmaagiin Battulga, attended the solemn ceremony of assuming the office of the Head of the Republic of Buryatia Alexei Tydenov.
"Allow me to congratulate you on behalf of the President of Mongolia and on my own behalf with the assumption of the powers of the Head of the Republic of Buryatia. The President of Mongolia, Haltmaagiin Buttulga, attaches great importance to the development of Russian-Mongolian cooperation. We hope that with your help we will develop our cooperation at a new level, not only between Buryatia and Mongolia, but also Russia and Mongolia. Knowing your work experience and professional approach in the Ministry of Transport of the Russian Federation, we have no doubt that you will be a good leader of the Republic of Buryatia, "said Amarzhargalyn Gansukh, special representative of the President of Mongolia on tripartite cooperation and economic corridor between Russia, Mongolia and China.
In turn, the Head of Buryatia thanked the President of Mongolia for the attention he pays to Russian-Mongolian relations and cooperation.
"We had fruitful cooperation with you in previous years and I am confident that it will be no less fruitful in the future. Thank you for coming and visiting the important event for the republic and for me personally - inauguration. I want to ask you to convey gratitude to the President of Mongolia for what he supported, and you, with his consent, came to us. I am confident that our mutual relations will develop even more dynamically for the benefit of our parties, "said Alexei Tsydenov.
It should be noted that the meeting also discussed issues of cooperation between Buryatia and Mongolia in the field of animal husbandry, the purchase of meat and the breeding stock of livestock in Mongolia. They also talked about the supply of electricity from the republic to Mongolia.
